Strengthening mental health systems through population data, service delivery, and equity analysis.
The Mental Health Center studies the burden, financing, and service delivery of mental disorders in Indonesia using national claims data, facility registries, and health workforce records. Its work spans both the demand side, including served prevalence and treatment pathways in the JKN system, and the supply side, including the distribution of psychiatrists, mental hospitals, and community-based services. The center aims to translate these analyses into actionable evidence for closing the treatment gap and reducing geographic and socioeconomic inequities in mental health care.
The center is led and staffed by the researchers below, working with academic and institutional collaborators.
